What is Disney’s Magical Express Service?
Complimentary motorcoach transportation and luggage transfer services from Orlando International Airport to select Walt Disney World Resort hotels and back for passengers of all Orlando air carriers.
Travel time is approximately 45 to 75 minutes. Motorcoaches may make multiple stops before arriving at your Disney Resort hotel.
Luggage delivery service is available for flights arriving between 5:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. daily. For airport arrivals after 10:00 p.m., Guests must collect their luggage at Baggage Claim and transport it with them on the motorcoach.
Reserve the service when you make your Disney Resort reservation prior to arrival at Orlando International Airport.
Please note: The service does not provide luggage-only transfer.
What happens if I don′t use all the days on my ticket?
Our Magic Your Way Base Tickets expire 14 days from their first use. However, when you add the No Expiration Option to your ticket, you′re able to come back and take advantage of unused days at any time in the future.
What type of ticket do I need to take advantage of the Extra Magic Hours benefit?
In addition to being a Walt Disney World Resort Guest or a Golden Oak Resident or Guest, a valid theme park ticket is required. Remember, without the Park Hopper Option, or the Ultimate Ticket Option for UK Guests, you may only visit one theme park per day. Please check the schedule and plan accordingly.
Are reservations available at Walt Disney World Resort restaurants?
Yes, reservations are available—and highly recommended—at many Walt Disney World Resort restaurants. You may make reservations online at http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/reservations/dining/, or by calling (407) WDW-DINE or (407) 939-3463. Guests under age 18 must have parent or guardian permission to call. It is recommended that you arrive at restaurants 5 minutes prior to your seating time. You will be seated at the next available table that can accommodate your party.
Are there adults-only activities?
There is a host of activities for active adults, along with wonderful opportunities for rest, relaxation and even romance. Train on board with state-of-the-art equipment, dance in nightclubs and lounges, enjoy the serenity of the Vista Spa & Salon, take some personal time at the adults-only Quiet Cove Pool, and savor true elegance at our most romantic restaurant, Palo. Try to make appointments online in advance of embarkation or soon after you board for an open-air cabana massage if your ship is stopping at Castaway Cay.
Will I get to see Disney Characters on board?
The beloved Disney Characters appear in an array of different settings, including plenty of meet-and-greet and photo opportunities, along with stage shows and other special programs—especially in kids’ areas at Disney’s Oceaneer Club and on Castaway Cay. A Character Breakfast is only available on the 7-night cruises, but there are many opportunities to meet Characters on all cruises.
Are alcoholic beverages and sodas free?
Free sodas are available at the Beverage Station on Deck 9 of the Disney Magic and the Disney Wonder. There are 2 Beverage Stations on Deck 11 of the Disney Dream. However, you must pay for alcoholic beverages and sodas at the bars and lounges onboard.
Where are breakfast and lunch served?
Breakfast and lunch are served in Parrot Cay and Lumiérés on the Disney Magic, Triton’s and Parrot Cay on the Disney Wonder, and Royal Palace and Enchanted Garden on the Disney Dream. There are also buffets at Topsider Buffet on the Disney Magic and Beach Blanket Buffet on the Disney Wonder, as well as casual dining at Cabanas on the Disney Dream. Quick poolside meals are also available during breakfast and lunch. Check your Personal Navigator daily for specific hours of operation for all our great dining locations.
Can coolers and/or food items be brought on board?
Coolers are not permitted except for those needed for medications, baby food or items related to dietary constraints. Items must be pre-packaged, unopened and cannot require any food prep from the kitchen. Coolers filled with personal items (e.g. soda, chips, candy, etc.) may not be brought on board. Homemade items or pre-cooked items purchased on the way to the ship will not be allowed to be brought aboard. Also, open bags or containers of snack items should not be brought aboard. All items will need to be stored in the stateroom; the ship’s storage and/or refrigeration are not available to use.
What is My Online Check-In and how can I use it?
You may know that boarding can be complicated by filling out a series of forms to submit at the port terminal; now, with the My Online Check-In section of disneycruise.com, you can complete forms online before you arrive at the port terminal, saving time and energy. There are 3 mandatory forms for each Guest:
- Guest Information
- Payment Authorization
- Online Check-In Signature Form

What can Teens do on a Disney cruise?
Teens can enjoy music, movies, video games and other teen-only activities inside Aloft (ages 13-17) on the Disney Wonder, The Stack (ages 14-17) on the Disney Magic or Vibe (ages 14-17) on the Disney Dream. All have big-screen plasma TVs, a lounge area, dance floor and Internet café. Teens have plenty of freedom on a Disney cruise under the watchful eyes of trained counselors. Teens can see “What’s Happening Today” in the Personal Navigator. There are also teen-only excursions on Castaway Cay, Disney’s very own private island paradise.
How can my family enjoy a visit with Disney Characters?
Disney Characters appear throughout the Disneyland Resort. For information on where they can be found, check the entertainment guide that you receive at the park entrance or visit any information center.
Can I visit both theme parks in one day?
It is possible to visit both theme parks in one day, but since there is so much to see and do, we recommend planning a multi-day visit. There are many multi-day ticket options that allow you to explore both parks at a more relaxed pace.
- You can, however, visit both parks on the same day if:
- You purchase a Park Hopper Ticket (may be a part of your Vacation Packages).
- You are an Annual Passholder.
- You are a Disneyland Resort Hotel Guest with an Ultimate Park Hopper Ticket.
Can my special dietary needs be accommodated at restaurants at the Disneyland Resort?
Food Allergy or Intolerance Requests – The Disneyland Resort Food & Beverage team is committed to offering a wide range of choices to accommodate Guests with food allergies or intolerances. Note that in many cases, advance notice is required — usually at the time of dining reservation. Whether dining at a table-service or quick-service restaurant, Guest food allergy or intolerance requirements will be addressed.
What Dining Plans do you offer with a Vacation Package, and can these plans be booked online?
There are Disney Dining Plans for 3, 4, 5 and 6 days. Plans can be booked online as part of your Vacation Package.
If I purchased a Dining Plan, do I need to make dining reservations ahead of time?
Reservations are required. Please call Disney Dining at (714) 781-DINE or (714) 781-3463.
Adventures by Disney
What is included in the cost of the land package?
Included in your Adventures by Disney vacation are:
- The services of two Adventure Guides
- Local experts
- Scheduled meals, activities, and entertainment*
- National & Regional Park entrance fees (where applicable)
- Luggage service
- Transportation within your adventure*
- Transfers are only available from the specified arrival and departure airport/train station for each departure*
- Gratuities for porters, housekeepers, drivers, activity providers, local experts, and dining room staff for meals included in the adventure
- Taxes, including airport departure taxes (where applicable)
What if I need to cancel my reservation?
Cancellations can be made by telephone or in writing. The time of cancellation will be the date upon which Adventures by Disney Travel Services receives notice from you. If you fail to execute and return the Adventure Travel Agreement to us no later than 14 calendar days after booking, it will be deemed a cancellation by you. We strongly advise that you not make any non-cancelable commitments within 14 calendar days after booking. If you make changes to the vacation commencement date or chosen vacation, it will be deemed a cancellation by you.
If you cancel, amounts paid, minus cancellation fees and nonrefundable amounts, will be promptly refunded. Regardless of when you book, your deposit of US$300 is refundable for 14 calendar days after original booking. You must notify us if you decide to cancel within this 14 calendar day period. If you cancel after this period, the following cancellation fees, calculated in calendar days prior to vacation start date, and irrespective of resale by us:
90 days or more: US$300 per person; 60-89 days: 25% of the land package price; 30-59 days: 50% of the land package price; 0-29 days: 100% of the land package price. No refunds will be made in the event of interruption or cancellation by you after the vacation start date.
The cancellation terms above apply only to the land package price and exclude, among other things, cancellation charges from air carriers. It is strongly recommended that you purchase travel insurance as a precaution.
Do I need to know the language native to the destination?
While it is a nice gesture to greet local people in their native language, it is not essential as our Adventure Guides and/or local experts will normally be able to assist you. All adventures are conducted in English.
Are passports, visas, or other documentation required for international travel?
Depending on your country of origin and your vacation destination, passports and/or visas may be required. U.S. citizens need a passport valid for international travel and a visa is required for travel to China and Australia. It is your sole responsibility to be sure you have the correct documentation for all travel. Allow sufficient time to have your application processed if you are applying for a new passport or renewing an expired passport.
